With sooo much history in the making, you may well be remembered for imposing the biggest pivot of the 21st century.

What else is in the works for us? 
May we PUHLEEEZE, have just a moment to catch our breath?

Even four months in, the uncertainty of these unprecedented times continues to evolve globally….

That means we need to be more personally adept at dealing with the transitions these unsettling changes bring into our lives.

Did you know that when ANY kind of change happens, we each transition through 4 stages?

The Cliff – The Forest – The Meadow – The Hills

Given the present global status of Covid-19, most of us are still in the early stages of transition.

That really isn’t surprising. Change never happens overnight. It’s a process….

And God knows, this pandemic has given us a LOT to process!

So yeah, right now we’re either at The Cliff or we’re in The Forest. Let me explain….

When Covid-19 was first declared a global pandemic, we were all unexpectedly hurled into that first stage of transition, The Cliff.

…Life as we knew it ground to a halt.

…Sh*t happened!

…We lost everything familiar. For many of us, even loved ones.

Net-Net: We are grieving our losses, and still processing varying degrees of fear, stress, confusion, anxiety, overwhelm, and sadness.

Now, fast forward to recent events and the lifting of mandatory lockdowns and social isolation.

…There’s been a collective sigh of relief globally.

…We’re embarking on this next stage of Covid-19.

Net-Net: Depending on personal circumstances, some of us might be moving into The Forest stage of transition. Here we start to explore what our new normal might look like.

It helps us identify and absorb where we are right now, what to expect next, and where we might be tripped up or feel stuck.

As things start to relax and open up, can you see the light at last?

Do you feel a little glimmer of hope like I do? Like… finally there IS a light at the end of that tunnel?!

If so, let’s seize this opportunity to envision and enact new ‘normals’ and pivot for the future.

Figuring out exactly what kind of pivot that might look like, will definitely be a work in progress for each of us.

And that’s precisely what the final two stages of transition are all about.
